Annually, March 20 is International Day of Happiness!
No matter where you are, every day is a great day to be happy, including on the International Day of Happiness!
What can you do to be happy on the International Day of Happiness and every other day of the year? Here are some ideas:
1. Do what you enjoy.

Whether it’s an indoor activity or an outdoor activity, a solo activity or a group activity, do what you like because today is always a great day to be doing something you enjoy.
2. Find something to make you laugh.

This can help make sure you focusing on the positive and what makes you happy. You’ll be able to feel good and have a general sense of well-being. As they say, “Laughter is the best medicine!”
3. Appreciate.

Appreciate the little things and the big things. Appreciate what’s around you and everything about yourself. The world is full of goodness, and it’s always a good time to appreciate.
4. Give.

There is always something you will need, so why should you always take? What if you changed at least some of those moments of taking to moments of giving? Take some time to put a smile on someone else’s face by giving instead of taking.
5. Smile.

A smile can do a world of good. Its contagiousness makes you and everyone else happy. Whether you smile genuinely or it initially feels fake, the happiness it brings will come before you know it!
